One of the most celebrated designers in history, Coco Chanel is one of my personal idols. I love her classic designs and her firm ideology that luxury must be comfortable for women. She was a visionary during an era in which pain meant beauty, and she encouraged women to take off the binding, restricting corsets for more relaxed, comfortable garments. Yet she added such a high level of sophistication to her designs, that decades later, her brand’s looks are still very chic, relevant and iconic. Enjoy some of my favorite photos and works of Coco Chanel!

Remember, loves. Chanel did not have an easy, luxurious life. Her time on earth started with poverty and was peppered with trauma and pain.Β Yet she persevered, and used her skills to bring beauty, luxury and glamour to the women around her. I can only aspire to be on that level.

Success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.
