Wes Anderson has always been a personal favorite film maker – his quirky and distinct style resonated many years ago when I first saw The Royal Tenenbaums. Before Instagram was Instagram, Wes Anderson incorporated vintage color schemes with a Kelvin-esque filter that is instantly recognizable.

Emilia Wickstead took this aesthetic as inspiration for her F/W 2015 RTW collection, and of course, I love it. The looks are timeless, textured, and flat out adorable.

  1. My boyfriend is in the film industry so I have a sweet spot for Wes Anderson. Loved this collection, feminine but also structured. Perfect Combo.
