So a recap of the holidays: We took the kids to our favorite historic hotel to have afternoon tea with scones, finger sandwiches, and macarons. Oh my goodness, it was delicious.
For the afternoon tea, I went for a vintage look, with this green A-line, a vintage pink wool sweater, black rounded toe mary janes, and my freshly cut bob.A little kitsch never hurt anyone, right? I felt like I needed to be holding a book of 1950’s perfect hostess etiquette or how to bake a proper pie for your tupperware party.

That evening, we did a quick wardrobe change (I think we only had 10-15 minutes!), and headed to the company holiday party. Here’s the outfit I put together with a little help from Rent the Runway. If you haven’t discovered them yet, it’s life changing. You basically get to try out designer dresses with no major commitment.
