The 58th Grammy red carpet was full of eye popping looks – mostly stunningly gorgeous gowns, but definitely some duds tonight too! Here are the best and worst dressed of the night as well as who nabbed the awards.\n

Best Dressed

\nSelena Gomez in Calvin Klein - Photo Jason Merritt - Getty\n\nSelena Gomez dazzled in this midnight blue sequin Calvin Klein gown with side triangle cutouts. The cut of the gown hit all her curves perfectly, accentuating her gorgeous figure. And her styling was on point – she looked absolutely stunning from head to toe.\n

Taylor Swift in Atelier Versace - Photo Jason Merritt - Getty

\n

Taylor Swift showed off her figure in another fashion forward gown, this time by Atelier Versace with a pink ball skirt and a poppy orange tube top. I never thought I’d say this. But. The tube top actually looks great.

\n

And congrats to TSwift for winning album of the year for her record 1989, video of the year for her epic Bad Blood video, and best pop vocal album for 1989. In her acceptance speech for album of the year, she eloquently and gracefully, albeit indirectly, told Kanye West to sit down already.

\n

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” Swift said. “But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday, when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”

\n

Good for you, Taylor! People like him just want to stay relevant by making inflammatory statements and using other people’s fame to create a buzz about themselves. But you reminded him and anybody else who tries to ride your coat tails and throw shade, that they are really a non-factor.

Wintour TSwift

\n

And stellar hair cut, T Swift! The Anna Wintour is flattering on you!

Carrie Underwood in Nicolas Jebran - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Carrie Underwood looked like an absolute bombshell in this black sweetheart neckline high-slit gown by Nicolas Jebran. I love the knot tied at the top of the slit and the texture at the bust. It all works, and it’s all glam!

\n

\n

Chrissy Teigen in Yousef Al-Jasmi - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Chrissy Teigan was glowing in this white Yousef al-Jasmi gown with a beaded cape train. This was a fabulous pick to showcase her baby bump. Congrats, Chrissy!

\n

\n

Kacey Musgraves in Armani Prive - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

I am loving this multi-hued tier gown from Armani Prive worn by Kasey Musgraves. Unfortunately, I think her styling was just a little off with her lipstick matching the purple of the dress, and she just didn’t look good in that color. The total look would have been stellar with a richer, rosy lip.

Beyonce in Inbal Dror - Photo Mark Davis - Wire Image

\n

Beyonce didn’t walk the red carpet, but she attended the Grammy’s wearing this gorgeous bridal gown by Inbal Dror. The gown was customized with a sheer neckline and collar, with stunning effect.

Ellie Goulding in Stella McCartney - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

I just love the simplicity and beauty of this pale pink Stella McCartney gown worn by Ellie Goulding. It just barely grazes her hips to flatter her figure, and she looks amazing. We’ll forgive the 1990’s throwback hair.

\n

\n

Adele in Givenchy - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Adele played it safe in an all-black long-sleeve Givenchy fit and flare gown. She looks stellar in this gown (gorgeous curves!), but I wish she would have done just a little more with her styling. When you play the gown safe, don’t wear a neutral makeup palette – the look would have popped so much more if she added a little more color!

\n

\n

Ariana Grande in Romona Keveza - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Ariana Grande wore this striking fire engine red corset gown by Romona Keveza. I love the more structured top on her, and she pulls it off perfectly. And her styling is unusual for the red carpet, but actually pretty perfect for the vibe of the overall look . Her sleek pony with sparkling diamond drop earrings, cuff, and matching box clutch all compliment the youthful elements of the gown. Love this look on her!

Alessandra Ambrosio in Versace - Photo Jordan Strauss - Inivision

\n

\n

I am loving Alessandra Ambrosio in this sleek black Versace gown. The fluid bodice cutout is stunning on her figure and is so visually striking. So gorgeous.

Worst Dressed

Kaley Cuoco in Naeem Khan - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Kaley Cuoco wore this metallic white striped jumpsuit by Naeem Khan, and it’s just not my favorite look. It boxes her silhouette a little bit, instead of elongating it. Next time, Kaley!

\n

\n

Worst - Manika in ARThur Christine - Photo Jason Merritt - Getty

\n

Manika also makes the worst dressed list wearing this…fringe…strip. And a sheer overlay. What? In case you’d like to purchase it for your boudoir shoot or Halloween, it’s by ARThur Christine.

\n

\n

Worst - Florence Welch in Gucci - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Florence Welch wore this Gucci Pepto-Bismol pink nightgown frock bedazzled in multicolored stars, the moon, and a dragon fly. Need I say more?

\n

\n

Ciara - Photo Jason Merritt - Getty

\n

Ciara wore this wrap dress that was defective. I love a good classy show of skin. But Ciara. I said classy, girl. I KNOW that’s not a DVF.

\n

\n

Janelle Monae in Jean Paul Gaulthier - Photo Jordan Strauss - Invision

\n

Janelle Monae wore this getup by Jean Paul Gaulthier, and I don’t even know what to say. I’m all about the art and the abstract. And I love a good haute couture risk. But this has kitsch, “can I get by you to clean up the popcorn off the floor” feel.
