The Marchesa Notte Fall 16 RTW collection was inspired by nature, as Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig imagined walks through royal gardens with lush greenery, florals, butterflies and a glowing sunset.Marchesa Notte - Courtesy of Marchesa Notte5

The more accessible sub-label was riddled with romance in the form of fringe, floral embroidery, ethereal sheer fabrics, and gilded damask. Most of the colors were muted, but there were a few pops of color that really worked. A fuschia mini skirt was layered in folds under a sheer body hugging tank covered in grey and wine colored floral sequins. And the yellow strapless column gown had the same folds turned sideways for a ruffle by a smart peplum.

The best of the collection were the blush and metallic gold mini dress and matching strapless gown, as well as the gold on black looks. Gorgeous!
