Yesterday’s Cannes red carpet for the screening of the film Loving was a juxtaposition of sizzling vixens in red and black with high slits and plunging necks with demure angels in white baby doll silhouettes.
Kate Moss in Halston with Chopard Jewelry
This was a strong look, and had the potential to be the best look of the night. It just fell short of total perfection with a couple less than flattering angles, and the length was about a few inches too short.
Kirsten Dunst in Dior
Cute, but not earth shattering.
Chloe Sevigny in Chanel
This was not the best choice for Chloe, and her styling did not help the situation. She ended up looking like a woman in her mid-forties trying to look like a 10-year old girl. So uncomfortable.
Angela Lindvall in Zuhair Murad
Who doesn’t look great in Zuhair Murad? Her makeup and hair are on point too, so it all just works.
Stunning and sexy!
Lottie Moss in Dior
This is Kate Moss’ little sister. It’s simple, chic, and I love it. Just a tad bit too long in the front but other than that, gorgeous!
Mischa Barton in Georges Hobeika
This was a close one. Toni Garrn came in a close second since I’m a sucker for a sexy petal bust gown, and she looked fabulous. But Mischa’s Georges Hobeika has this classic elegance to it mixed with a sensual element in how the beading and embroidery around the bust create just enough illusion to still stay timelessly classy.
I thought the daytime photo call looks were stellar. Ana de Armas’ structural pencil dress was absolute perfection. And Ruth Negga’s metallic pleat dress moved with such classic grace.
