As a Francophile foodie, Christian Siriano is a boy after my heart through his Resort 2017 collection. He took a voyage through Parisian patisseries in a pastel confection-inspired palette.

Vibrant retro floral prints mixed with popping textures and feminine silhouettes, of course Sirianized in modern perfection by his exceptional artistry in volume and sculpture. He toyed with shape in the capelet dress, creating a winged effect by arching down the sides a bit with an understated effect. The cold shoulder and off-the-shoulder trends as well as the crisscross crop and deep sweetheart neckline made appearances with mostly midis and maxis.

There were also several red carpet ready looks to balance the more formal clientele needs that I believe we’ve already seen on a few celebs.

Personal favorites are the blush petal bust dress, the lemon and lilac cold shoulder dress, the lilac and white striped palazzo pants with the white floral crop, the the tangerine and pink floral dress with lilac top, as well as both of the blush dresses with gold circles. I LOVE all of his textiles.

  1. Lovely post! I love these images, it feels very 50s with the sugary, pastel tones 😉
