While enjoying a weekend trip to NYC, I stopped by The Mark Hotel to see their gorgeous flower cart, stocked full with crimson and white roses for Valentine’s Day. And these aren’t just your run of the mill flowers.
The Mark Floral Cart stands outside the 5 star hotel year-round, offering both seasonal fresh flowers as well as gorgeous arrangements of preserved flowers that last up to a year. Yes, I said a year. Typically you can stop by and find flowers with two of the The Mark‘s signature colors – orange and white. But for Valentine’s Day, they switch out the orange for crimson red roses, and I swear, the preserved flowers look just as good as the fresh. The preserved roses have a velvety touch, and the French style box display is so pretty.
I loved visiting The Mark, because they also had Laduree macarons, the BEST European style hot chocolate (it was literally like they melted a bar of chocolate – so good!), a fun foyer with their signature stripes and unique furniture, and the cutest pedicabs. This is definitely our speed – a cute and playful day, shopping for flowers, sipping cocoa and eating macarons!
The weather was perfect, so we enjoyed a little stroll around Central Park – a quick walk around the corner from the hotel. It was such a fun afternoon – I love our little romantic moments together! Don’t get me wrong, date nights are great – but I love doing exactly this – spending time with my favorite person, in a beautiful location, eating delicious treats and experiencing something new! I hope you all have a fantastic Valentine’s Day!
