Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared2 took inspiration for their Pre-Fall 2018 season from 70’s era Studio 54 mashed with 80’s era hip hop. The pair delivered a street vibe – high voltage glam mix in a well-edited polish.

Cropped cargos and ripped denim were paired with hoodies and shearling. But then they added a popping hued fur stole in bright orange and purple (so big, they’re almost vests!), and perfectly tailored trousers and it’s a completely different, elevated look.

The looks quickly evolved into heading out for the evening with chic black and grey mini skirts and dresses, cropped pants, thigh boots, a few pairs of wide leg trousers, and quite a few fantastic jackets with sporty striping and street elements. Put me in black with pops of shimmering grey any time, and I’m down.

The final looks definitely amped up those metallics, creating a subdued multicolor camouflage pattern that would definitely have fit in at Studio 54.
