I should never underestimate Italian fashion houses. The collections in Day 3 were so strong, inspiring and crave-worthy, that I found myself wanting to put almost entire collections into this blog.\n\n\n\nSportmax showed a collection of oversized gingham prints on layered and loose-fitting silhouettes. Many of the looks felt a bit androgynous, but very laid back and comfy chic.\n\n

\n\nBlumarine showed a collection of flowing, feminine looks with pops of vibrant colors over nude and gorgeous black tones on sheer fabric. The theme seemed to be a focus on organic flow of florals and colors.\n\n \n\nErmanno Scervino showed another fabulous collection and ah, the colors! So fabulous. I loved the bright, vibrant combination of blues and greens, with the looks eventually graduating through lighter blues to neutrals, white and grey looks. Sophisticated and sexy with a nod to vintage.\n\n \n\nHigh necklines and beautiful embellishments were staples in the Giamba (Giambattista Valli) collection. A great selection of lace, sheer and print looks on A-line dresses, the collection just had a sense of femininity, ease and luxury to it that says volumes about the designer’s talent.\n\n \n\nMarco de Vincenzo had a fabulous collection of minis and midis, all in a sugary sweet color palette of soft pinks, purples and silver tones. Crop tops and hip hugging pencil skirts made the collection feel fun, sexy and chic.\n\n \n\nLes Copains was one of my favorites of the day. Luxurious and creative, the looks felt clean, crisp and intricate at the same time. I loved the layered black, gold and neutral tones, and they killed me with the sweater over tulle skirt. And I am not a sweater kind of girl, but this look WORKED.\n\n \n\nAnother favorite of the day, Aigner had sweet, sophisticated, sensual looks throughout the entire collection. It was one of the few shows I have ever watched where I loved almost every single look that walked down the runway. I normally don’t add this many looks from one collection, but I swear, this is actually pared down! There were just too many to choose from. Take a look and judge for yourself, but this is certainly one of my all-time favorite runway collections.\n\n
