Nicholas Kirkwood to design London Fashion Week campaign

\n\nNicholas Kirkwood started his career for milliner Phillip Treacy in his London shop after a chance meeting on a skiing trip. From there, he learned the shoe making craft during a quick stint at Cordwainers College before returning to Treacy’s. From there, he worked for Ghost and John Rocha before launching his own Spring/Summer 2005 shoe collection. He received immediate critical acclaim, winning the 2006 Condé Nast Footwear News Vivan Infantino award for emerging talent. His aesthetic is architecturally inspired, extravagant, and not just catwalk worthy, but catwalk commanding. Take a look at some of my favorite shoes created by Kirkwood.\n\n\n\nHe has attracted quite the following with celebrities like Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Beyonce. In addition, he’s done catwalk collections for Victoria’s Secret, Ghost, John Rocha, Erdem, Rodarte, Pollini, Roksanda Ilincic and Peter Pilotto.\n\n
