{PFW} Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2015 Couture Starry Night Collection

The mysterious night sky was the inspiration for Zuhair Murad‘s Fall 2015 Couture collection. His signature crystal embroidery dazzled like the cosmos against the dark backdrops of red, blue, and green fabrics. Silhouettes were a mix of red carpet worthy gowns with plunging necklines, barely there lace sheers and ballgowns as well as short and cute tutu skirts and A-lines, all cascading in sparkles. Both my inner princess and astronomer are screaming “YES!”

But a side note. Really, a plea to current designers: Would it kill you to put pasties on your models? So many nips, and I’m all about showcasing the beauty of the natural body…but I’m not really trying to look at these models’ personal bits.
