The Lanvin Paris Fashion Week runway show was a thematic stage production of theatric acts in the form of fashion variety. The first act showed a selection of black and white crisp day looks, perhaps a nod to the first black and white films. One pop of a simple red silk dress broke the collection into color followed by a dizzying amount of styles including a blue sleeveless tuxedo jumpsuit and a jaunt through the 1950’s bombshell actress looks with mustard yellow, fire engine red, powder blue, and emerald green draped mini and midi goddess dresses.
Just a few glitz meets mod looks were swiftly followed by a few slinky sequined numbers including a bow-clasp jacket. The show ended in a pattern bomb series of randomness, including a slip jumpsuit with bubble hems, a sequined heel print mini dress with lace edging, a cheetah print military jacket, and a sculptured mini dress. Wow.
