It was a return to roots for Tory Burch‘s Spring collection, taking inspiration from her northeast preppy heritage in a plethora of paisley of what she dubbed 1960’s “hostess chic”.

The show began with looks in Kelly green, including a cardigan over paisely loose cropped trousers and a tied scarf blouse, then moved on to tennis skirts, an off-the-shoulder maxi, and a couple of bra tops over high-waisted maxi skirts. The crop top has made way to the scooped bra top, which keeps getting smaller and smaller…but it actually is pretty cute with the high waist skirt. I didn’t think I’d ever say I was a fan of a bra top but…here I am totally a fan of what Tory Burch did here.

Then the show moved on to a varied bold color palette in orange and azure. There were a few nautical nods to the coastal towns with boat prints before the collection gave way to the more vintage-inspired print skirts, dresses, a jumpsuit, and even macrame. Woo00000 that’s a lotta color!
