Hollywood‘s latest adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s work is Amazon’s new show The Last Tycoon, starring Lily Collins, Matt Bomer, and Kelsey Grammer. The show follows the story of a successful Hollywood producer during the Great Depression who struggles to move on after his wife’s death, clashing with studio head played by Kelsey Grammer, and making artistic compromises for viewers in Nazi Germany. Enticing!
It wasn’t Kelsey, but his daughter Greer Grammer that pretty much stole the show on the red carpet. Well, she shared the spotlight with Lily. Greer looked absolute perfection in a black and gold lace halter number, with natural makeup and a polished sweeping bob hairstyle. And she. looks. stunning. All eyes were on her, and poor Kelsey got upstaged by his own daughter! I’m sure he didn’t mind.
The Look ~ Dress: Tadashi Shoji
Lily Collins went for a slightly more modernist vibe with a strapless flounce top dress, asymmetrically color blocked in red and white on a pleated skirt. Her hair was pulled back on one side, with loose waves on the other. Her makeup was subtle in pale rose tones on the lips, eyes, and just the faintest dabs on the cheeks.
