So, you should create your own beauty routine that suits your skin type the best, and we guarantee you that owing to regular exfoliation, your skin will look much younger and more radiant. What’s even more important, the cosmetic products that you’re using will have a stronger effect since they’ll easily reach the right skin layers.


Don’t even think about going out without an SPF

Sun in the winter and even in the spring seems to be absolutely harmless, but this is not what’s really happening. On the contrary, it has been shown that regardless of the season, prolonged sun exposure can lead to skin damage, serious health issues and even cancer. So, no matter how cold it’s outside, don’t forget to apply a cream with a decent SPF or go for makeup that already contains it. Finally, as the summer is approaching, make sure to gradually increase the strength of your sun protection and give a stronger SPF a try.

As we’ve already mentioned, it’s crucial that you stop using all these heavy products that were suitable for cold weather and switch to some lighter cosmetics. For example, instead of applying a heavy cream to your face and risking getting clogged pores, try out a hydrating serum that will keep your skin moisturized and promote cellular repair. Additionally, the same goes for your makeup. Forget about those heavy foundations that don’t allow your skin to breathe and can even lead to acne outbursts.  Instead, make sure to experiment a bit with some more sensitive and lighter options until you find the one which suits you the best.


Try out sheet masks

This winter to spring transition is the perfect time for you to add a fresh touch to your moisturizing routine and upgrade it with amazing sheet masks. They are carefully designed to hydrate your skin, leaving it soft and glowing already after the first use. However, you have to be cautious when choosing the appropriate one for you since those containing a heavy creamy essence are definitely not the best choice for this time of the year.

Our favorite one is definitely a yogurt mask that will cleanse your skin and tighten the pores. All you need to do is mix a spoon of plain yogurt with a bit of freshly-squeezed orange juice together with its pulp and add one teaspoon of aloe. Once your mixture is ready, apply it to your face and let it sit for approximately 20 minutes. We guarantee you that as soon as you rinse it off, you’ll notice a huge change.
