It’s finally happening! After the long goodbye of the summer swelter, it’s finally officially sweater weather…even though Autumn has been here by calendar at least, for a while now.
So the family and I decided to take advantage of the chill and do something festive over the weekend. We headed to a local charity pumpkin patch, and and roamed the collections of future ghoulish gourds and Fall decor. I’m such a sap, but I love these little bonding moments doing the little things to make holiday or seasonal memories.
Everyone picked out their own pumpkin, already planning the design to carve or paint. Score! While everybody else has their full creepy creative juices flowing, I have no idea what I want to do with mine. Cutesy doesn’t go with three scary pumpkins, does it? I think I’m going to anyway!
I got to break out my ankle boots, which I have been impatiently waiting for. They have two-sided zips with a tassel and a chunky wood heel, and an ever-so-subtle blush tone to them. Kinda in love.
